I’ve always loved being behind the camera, but now I have the skills to create complex projects from start to finish. Here is a “highlight reel” of some of my larger-scale or most-involved projects, as well as some earlier and later pieces.

I created this piece for one of my first film projects at western, completely solo.

Later that semester the same class put together more in-depth projects. I wrote my first screenplay, “The Tiny Claw.” With some help from some friends, it really came together!

Last year I participated in all the 48 hour film festivals hosted by Mountaineer Media, putting together an entire film from scratch in 48 hours. going from not even having a plot to forming an entire film can be challenging, but it’s definitely helped me meet deadlines!

After COVID-19 Hit the US, it changed a lot about filmmaking, and about how school worked. a lot of our larger projects had to be downsized or eliminated entirely, so for many of our classes we made projects on our own at home. I made The Long Way as a solo submission for my narrative production class, in the wake of our cancelled projects.

Once we became more accustomed to working around COVID, we were able to get back to making films! Prey was my team’s submission for this semester’s 48 hour Film Festival, and won Best of Fest!

Following 48 hour film fest, we were given an opportunity to create a video for western of the lighting of the W! Carly Donk and I put together this film completely as directors of Mountaineer Media.
